Rules and Constitution

The rules and constitution of Wantage and Grove Angling Club, as for all clubs, is a delicate balancing act between allowing members the freedom to practice their sport as they wish whilst protecting the safety of the members, the fish, the waters and the club itself.

The rules were last updated on 2 February 2026 (issue 9)

The constitution was last updated on 10th February 2025 (issue 9).

As a member of W&G AC you are bound by the rules (likewise, the club itself is bound by the constitution).

Acceptance of, and adherence to, these rules is a requirement for membership. If there is something you don't like then you may propose and argue for change at the annual general meeting.
